These decorative hand turned candle holders are crafted from fallen cedar trees sourced in the Hudson Valley, New York. Made in small batches, these candle holders are each slightly unique, formed around the natural characteristics of the tree. The candle holders are then burnt in the Japanese style of yakisugi, also known as shou sugi ban, creating the black patina and preserving the wood from decay. Candle holders are sold individually
Each candle holder is approximately is 4.5” tall and 4" in diameter. Variation will occur in each object. Designed to hold a 3” diameter candle pillar also available for purchase.
